Our client is a Motorola Service Shop with over 60 years in business in Minnesota.

Do you have a goal of owning your own shop in the future? This is a unique opportunity for the right Senior level Land Mobile Radio System Technician to do just that within five years. Meanwhile, you will support public safety first-responders, commercial, industrial, and local government customers throughout Southern MN by facilitating the installation and service of mission critical Motorola radio systems.

This role is a Field position working directly with customers and primarily focuses on Installation, Integration, programming, troubleshooting, repair, alignment, and maintenance of Motorola radio system and related equipment

Qualifications:

• Adept at programming and maintaining public safety and enterprise subscriber devices, specifically Motorola APX and MotoTRBO product lines
• Familiarity with Motorola P25 networking environments (RNI/CEN)
• MotoTrbo experience is a plus
• Experience with programming and configuration of Dispatch Consoles
• Multi-Protocol Label Switching (MPLS) networking experience
• Experience with microwave and point-to-point equipment a plus
• Motorola R56 certification is a plus
• ETA CET, FCC GROL, or other equivalent technical certification a plus
• Associate degree (AS/AA) or technical training in the areas of electronics, computers, networking, RF or equivalent work experience (OJT).
