Job Description and Responsibilities:
Our client is looking for a qualified, experienced, and highly motivated candidate to lead the sales activities in the commercial market segment. This includes customers in North America but also worldwide particularly in Europe and Asia. The individual will also be responsible to staff FAE in the proper geographical locations for technical support. The individual will work closely with engineering to help with any support requirements.
In this role, the individual will bring all customer feedback and intelligence to the company to help with product development; this includes, technical requirements, future roadmap, competitive analysis, and competition.
Requirements:
BS, MS, BA, PhD or equivalent degree
Over 15 years of experience in sales and business development
Detailed knowledge and experience in the GNSS, geolocation and modem market segment
Familiarity with end customers requiring such products either in chip, module or end product market
The qualified individual should have experience acquiring customers and selling into asset tracking, livestock tracking, industrial, automotive, agriculture, and drones
The individual is open to traveling and meeting with customers and representing the company in trade shows
Experience managing distributors
The individual has proven track record of taking revenue from few million dollars to over hundred million dollars
The individual has the discipline and ability to project quarterly sales target accurately and be able to beat them
Experience having set up CRM system
Team player with excellent interpersonal, communication and writing skills
