Company Description:
Our client is a two-way radio dealer. They are fully versed in the newest advances in technology, from digital two-way radios to 9-1-1 dispatch systems, in addition to sales and rentals, service and repair, installations, vehicle lighting and custom vinyl lettering/graphics/signs.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Interfacing with sales and customer representatives to determine coverage requirements and customer needs.
Responding to service calls to address customer concerns in a timely manner.
Performing Site Surveys to determine pathway and equipment locations.
Completing RF surveys to determine path loss characteristics and/or acceptance reports.
Documenting field data into reports to send back to Designers and Project Managers.
Acting as on-site Project Manager for specific projects assigned.
Delivering equipment to partners and subcontractors on site as required.
Interfacing with customers and installation crews as needed to successfully complete project.
Submitting/tracking materials and equipment required for installation.
Installing cabling, connectors, couplers, and antennas in various building environments.
Performance will be measured based on compliance to established performance specifications, engineering schedules, and cost-of-goods sold standards.
Troubleshooting system(s), identify root causes, and rectify issue with test equipment
Commissioning system(s) to adhere to local codes.
Documenting and ensuring punch list documentation is met.
Packing DAS equipment for jobs and ensure ready for delivery
Assist with inventory of DAS equipment
Working with other team members as needed to complete proposals and projects accurately and efficiently.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Ability to pass a drug test and background check to drive company vehicle
Must possess solid RF background and knowledge
Must possess excellent communication and listening skills
Must have excellent organizational and time management skills
Must possess a strong attention to detail
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Must be able to lift upwards of 50lbs unassisted.
Repeatedly ascend and descend ladders ranging from 6-14ft.
Walk continuously throughout the jobsite while carrying ladders, tolls, and installation materials.
Work indoor/outdoor with variable conditions
Demonstrate ability to work in a professional manner at all job sites
Demonstrate ability to think analytically and to solve complex problems
Demonstrate ability to work independently as projects require, while working with a sense of urgency
Demonstrated ability to use basic hand and power tools needed for installation projects.
Must be willing to travel within WI and northern IL
