Experience Summary:

We are currently representing an excellent Senior Director of Engineering, who has 17+ years of experience in the wireless telecommunications industry. He has a strong background with wireless device OEMs at the Director level. Our candidate has strong experience in directing program management, gated processes, product lifecycle, and senior executive reporting.

Some of his accomplishments include:

• Developed smart phones and tablets for a global marketing and was the directed team management of RF, antenna, baseband, audio, testing, etc. Successfully launched 22 high volume wireless products and accessories in a variety of global commercial and government markets.
• Staffed, equipped and created space for two complete HW development teams including all labs. Responsible for HW engineering operations on site including lab management, Capex ($4.2M), Opex ($7M), work force planning, and training. Also managed SW site operations including labs.
• Managed a team of 39 engineers and a $7M budget in the development for mobiles phones in the North American market.
• Eight years of electrical hardware design experience.
