Experience Summary:

We are currently representing an excellent Director of Engineering, who has 20 years of engineering experience in wireless, notebook, tablet, smartphone, networking, software, firmware and DSP development.

Some of his accomplishments include:

• Leader of a tablet core team, including HW/SW engineering, quality, services, marketing, operation, finance, procurement and supply chain to sustain all the shipping tablets and accessories.
• Eight years of experience enabling Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, WWAN and LTE on notebooks and tablets.
• Created the platform by closely working with marketing, CTO office, architects and software teams; aligning key vendors for CPU, LCD, touch, SSD, camera, Wi-Fi, LTE, BT, finger print and smart card readers.
• Coordinated system validation, certification, regulatory approvals, factory prototype, pilot builds and product release processes.
• Work with major WWAN vendors, carriers, platform teams and ODMs; developed Android based mobile broadband solutions on tablets for AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile and Sprint.
• Managed multiple team members in US, Taiwan and Europe that interface multiple technology vendors, including silicon providers and software development houses worldwide.
• BS Electrical Engineering – MS Electrical Engineering – PhD Electrical Engineering. Holds multiple patents.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin.
