Experience Summary:

We are currently representing an excellent Executive Director Network Engineering, who has thirty years of experience in business and financial services industry.

Some of his accomplishments include:

• Directed global teams and organizations of seven direct reports and teams of up to seventy employees while managing annual budgets of $11M capital and $23M expense. The teams managed included, LAN, WAN, Wireless, Monitoring, Network Operations, Carrier Relations and Network Architecture.
• Designed, implemented, and operated international and domestic networks (LAN, WAN, Wireless) and monitoring solutions for critical operations of a financial exchange. This included five data center locations with migrations, seven domestic and international corporate locations that were inter-connected via a domestic and international global backbone operated and maintained by the team.
• Managed the efforts of technically integrating organizations after acquisition and mergers or partnerships while implementing technology solutions to avoid the introduction of operational risk. These efforts resulted in achieving $10M in budgetary synergies savings for the organization.
• Represented Network Architecture and Operations during regulatory (CFTC, SEC, FSA), third party and internal audits. Maintained 100% compliance with SAS and Sarbanes audits.
• Evaluated and selected vendor and service provider solutions, pricing and contract negotiations, while maintaining long term strategic and partnership relationships.
• Constructed critical 7×24 Network Operations Center by reallocating existing positions and leveraging solution providers for non-operational business hours and off-shift coverage’s which improved network availability and a higher level of customer satisfaction.
