We are currently representing an excellent Director of Sales, who has over thirty years experience in the telecom industry.
Some of his accomplishments include:
- Generated $72 million from seven strategic sales to large enterprise accounts including McDonalds, Hyatt Hotels, and TransUnion Systems, with seven different sales teams in one year; led and powered a Tier One Carrier branch to the #1-rated branch for three consecutive years.
- Consulted with Telcordia to expand strategic partner and OEM program world-wide; identified and helped close $300+ million in OSS/BSS software opportunities with Systems Integrator—IBM to major carriers including Verizon and Qwest.
- While VP of Sales and Marketing, he grew sales from $4 million to $28 million in 2 ½ years. Built the sales department from the ground up, creating territories, hiring/training sales people, establishing goals, a new compensation program, reporting systems and positioned the company for sustained growth.
- As Director of OEM sales for a major equipment firm, he recruited Sun Microsystems, HP, Polycom, Intel, NEC, IPC, Paradyne, Terayon, and ODS. He generated $32 million in revenue the first year in LAN and Router hardware equipment and created an $82 million sales pipeline for hardware/software products.
- Throughout his career, he has managed sales and marketing simultaneously. He has the focused ability to identify the product attributes that customers find most appealing and paint them into a compelling sales presentation. He then finds a way of leveraging these sales into an industry or market which expands sales and market penetration quickly.
