Experience Summary:

We are currently representing an excellent Director of Engineering, with excellent knowledge of mobile devices, wireless network engineering and product management.

Some of his accomplishments include:

• Key contributor for the launch of the first 4G LTE commercial network and LTE Smartphone with a wireless carrier; managed the LTE field trials including network performance KPIs and voice quality testing.
• Improved quality and reduced schedule for the mobile device certification and acceptance process; managed a team responsible for technical acceptance and certification of 4G LTE and 3G CDMA/EVDO Android Smartphone devices.
• Maintained strong relationships with the OEM vendors and Qualcomm QCT on chipset product roadmaps.
• Responsible for mobile device test lab including RF verification and protocol test equipment; CDG/CCF, CTIA, OTA, CDMA and LTE IOT, RF field testing, voice quality testing, etc.
• Developed Qualcomm chipset requirements for 4G LTE and CDMA/EV-DO Smartphone’s; responsible for pre/post launch technical issue resolution with product managers from Samsung, LG, Huawei, HTC, ZTE, etc.
• Integral part of the CTO team working on 4G LTE network evolution strategy and spectrum planning; developed LTE system architecture, requirements, specifications, KPIs, etc.
• Subject matter expert on 3GPP LTE air interface standards including RRC, RLC and MAC protocols; conducted LTE field trials and analyzed system performance metrics.
