Engineering Staff / Product Development

• Work throughout all Military Departments with a major focus on Identity Management and Security.
• Integration, engineering and support primarily for DOD (Department of Defense) and Federal Agencies.
• Solutions architect for proprietary and non-proprietary / COTS (commercial of the shelf) products.
• Design and develop hardware for better hardware to support end user needs and requirements based on actual in the filed operations.
• Design, integrate and develop supporting wired / wireless systems supplying end to end networks for data and voice.
• Assist in authoring response to RFI’s, RFP’s and RFQ’s for various government solicitations.
• Write scopes of work for installation and integration of Biometric, RFID, CDMA, TDMA, IDEN, 802.11, public safety and various other voice / data wireless systems.
• Determine all logistics to achieve in budget, on time project deployments and be proactive to achieve customer satisfaction.
• Work with product development for both internal and external vendors, in new product design and fully integrated solutions.
• Write plans and Perform, troubleshooting and testing of new and legacy products, both in lab and field trials.
• Write training and onsite instruction to all customers / end users, installations groups and administration staff for each system.
• Support other engineers and customer service in the field, train internal personnel on new technologies.
• Present technical presentations, engineering designs for sales staff to prospective clients, engineering teams and high level government officials.
• Offer public speaking assistance for academic, municipal and other commercial market engagements to provide more knowledgeable education of new technologies.
