• Profitably managed and grew a$1B business unit for a worldwide leading handset manufacturer.
• Sustained #1 sell in and sell through share position in terms of both volume and value.
• Achieved sales revenues greater than $800MM – well over 120%+ of plan.
• Successfully launched a leading Smartphone in 10+ countries and30+ wireless operators.
• Incredibly strong contacts into all wireless carriers within Venezuela, Columbia, Central America, Caribbean, Spain, etc.
• Interfaced and nurtured relationships with incubators, entrepreneurs, partners, associations and other venture capitalists to develop the necessary alliances to grow.
• Hire, supervise and retain a team of 50+ people including 40+ under a matrix organization.
• Managed the C-level relationship for a leading wireless carriers’ 10+ properties in Latin America.
