Position Overview:
The Director of Telecom Sales will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing key partnerships, and leading a high-performing team of sales professionals. This position is pivotal in building and executing sales strategies, maintaining strong customer relationships, and ensuring revenue goals are met or exceeded.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute sales strategy: Create and implement effective sales plans to achieve company objectives and expand the customer base.
Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
Market Analysis: Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies in the telecom sector to identify growth opportunities.
Sales Forecasting and Reporting: Analyze sales data, prepare forecasts, and report regularly on progress toward sales targets.
Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product, and operations teams to align strategies and ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives.
Contract Negotiation & Closing: Lead high-stakes negotiations, ensuring favorable terms and successful closures of large and complex deals.
Qualifications:
Experience: 8+ years in telecom sales or related fields, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Proven success: Strong track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals, managing large client accounts, and growing revenue.
Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the telecom industry, products, services, and technologies.
Leadership skills: Demonstrated ability to lead, inspire, and develop a successful sales team.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly.
Problem-solving: Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to solve challenges creatively.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
