Job Description:

The DAS ENGINEER will be a core member of the team charged with growing the business within a new and existing customer base

Scope of Responsibilities:

• To define BOM of BDAs and DAS/public safety DAS projects for sales leads
• To define protocols and BOM to obtain FCC and UL 2524 certifications
• To liaise and support production and testing for DAS products
• To advise customers of products and infield troubleshooting for Class A and Class B
• To carry out or provide oversight to IBWave designs
• To support sales to develop solutions for customers
• To assist in design and development of new products, feature sets and enhancements

Key Requirements:

• Minimal travel with a national and active “Rolodex” of technical and commercial contacts at DAS, public safety DAS integrators, AHJs and industry bodies
• Report to Engineering Solutions Manager
• IBwave level 3 certification
• Excellent knowledge of amplifiers, filters for class A and class B products
• A highly responsive person
• Bachelor’s degree (minimum) in Electrical engineering with extensive RF background

Advantageous Skills:

• FPGA programming experience in DAS application
• Rapid development of R&D programs
• Extensive customer facing experience
• Leadership role in industry committees (eg Safer Buildings Coalition)
